Wheeltappers & Shunters Club is now rated a being the Number One Cabaret Venue in Benidorm and it has taken eleven years to get there since its opening in 1994 with the unforgetable Terry King as the resident comedian and Campus as host & compare, the club slowly built a reputation as being a small but crazy place to go to that resembled a working mens club in Great Britain and made the holiday makers feel at home and soon had many regulars who would visit the venue every time they were in Benidorm.

Over the next five years since opening The Wheeltappers enjoyed a succes that many small clubs found hard to sustane and this was mainly due to the popularity of Terry KIng who unfortunately passed away and left a void that was going to be hard to fill as he was so loved by the regular visitors to the club but a Terry would have said (Life goes on) and so did the Wheeltappers.
